Jbc562l
Does anyone know why the radiator on a GT6 is deep & narrow, where as the Spitfire is much wider ? Obviously the GT6 Rad has a higher capacity because it's cooling the bigger engine, but I'm more commenting on the difference in shape ?
dougbgt6
It's all because of the long six cylinder, it's the only way to squeeze the GT6 rad in. It sits between the front rails so it doesn't foul the bonnet and is as wide as the front rails will allow, which isn't very wide. The Spitfire radiator is further back and can sit higher and be wider.

dougbgt6
8 at East Berks last night! 3 actual cars, a record for October? Our thoughts turn to our Christmas outing, once more to Sweeny Todd's pie shop.

dougbgt6
Depends how many you have. Chicken and Leek pie followed by Christmas pudding pie sits a bit heavy on the digestion!
