Clive
is this a herald/vitesse? If so should be OK. A series of self tappers (may be hex head) and I think a nut and bolt or 2. The "tangs" an the bottom should be attached to the chassis siderails. I have seen totally unattached, pop riveted, self tappers, welded and simply folded over the siderail. Pete Lewis
the hardest one to get to is the underside vertical ones or two into the rear wing we have a 'monocoque' vitesse up here where the whole sill and body halves have been welded together, very neat but makes any adjustments futile lon my vitesse there were 50 years of mixed up , refit i used a large flat headed pop rivet , to cover the manky holes left from years of spire clips ,and odd self tappers Pete
