daverclasper
Hi. I have been lubing my dizzy, though wondering if it's an idea to strip it and clean the bush bearings etc. Don't want to mess anything up as a daily driver for work etc. Any help great thanks. Cheers, Dave
Pete Lewis
Dave lucas are very workable , the hardest job is driving the pin out of the dog drive , Delco are not strippable and best left alone The following applies to both makes Whilst its your daily just keep, the points and cap brush in good condition and every now and then a squirt of engine oil down under the contact plate to lube the top spindle bush and dream about a strip down when the suns out The base has a small drain hole so any excess will dribble out. Delco have a felt oiler pad in the base , lucas dont Pete
