mpbarrett Posted March 13, 2018 Report Share Posted March 13, 2018 I think I am about to give up on the original gearbox cover on my Herald. I have repaired it many times but it is falling to pieces. Guest Posted March 13, 2018 Report Share Posted March 13, 2018 Mike. I believe the TSSC club shop sells them, although I have not checked to confirm that. Have you tried using glass fibre kit to repair the tunnel, which should on a successful outcome make the tunnel housing far more robust. I have a good tunnel (traditional material) and one that has seen better days - the latter of which I will be looking to "rebuild" using glass fibre matting and the appropriate resin. Waynebaby Posted March 14, 2018 Report Share Posted March 14, 2018 Mike, I fitted a TSSC shop bought plastic gearbox tunnel to my GT6 this week and the fit was excellent.
