almavor
I have a Herald 13/60 convertible, 1970, and the engine number doesn't seem to be a regular Herald number. It is 602434, no prefix letters. Does anyone have any idea as to what engine this might be?
Clive
Is that stamped on the block (not cast) just behind no4 spark plug? https://images.app.goo.gl/SbqYJYn8d5kupi1A6
Colin Lindsay
That sounds more like the head number than the block. As Clive has illustrated, look for the flat plate above and right of the distributor / fuel pump; it should be easily readable from above.
