MK2  dash switch positions are quite different  and 1600 is unlikely to have a gauge voltage stabiliser as gauges are moving iron not thermo bimetal

much is similar but will need improvising in odd places

MK1 2ltr would be closer as same dash as 1600

and is your 6 with rev counter and seperateauges or speedo and integral gauges   makes more small variations

Hi All!  Update:  Went on Ebay and found a chap called "Nick" who makes Coloured Circuit Diagrams(Clear Plastic Coated) for easy wipe clean!  (£10) plus postage.  Sent him a copy of the 1600/6 Circuit to compare against His copy of the Mk2 Circuit and it was "Slightly Different"(Nicks shows the path and names the Dials etc)  to the Mk1 1600 Vitesse.

Cheers Martyn

Not counting the export models there are three versions of the loom in the Vitesse 6. The very early version, May 1962-Early 1963, had no fuses and a single dial. There is a lack of information concerning these very early cars. The second version, Early 1963-July 1963, had fuses but a single gauge. The third versions, July 1962-Oct 1966 has fuses and four gauges.

Comparison with the 2 Litre - Pete has covered the change in gauges, thanks Pete. The other considerations are a change in the brake light switch as operating from the brake line to operating off the brake pedal. Also the control box on the 2 Litre is mounted under the dash left hand side and not in the space in front of the A post - Between the A post and the front bulkhead. There is also reversing light wiring in the 2 Litre loom.

I think that is it.
