Tanky
Good morning all. This is what happens when I turn the engine over. What is my problem? The float is free and moves up and down. When I suck through the pipe on the float, it closes... Thanks Charlie 20200425_115414.mp4
yorkshire_spam
It really looks like the valve in the float bowl isn't closing, is the overflow/vent on the bowl lid blocked? Usually it p15535 out of there rather than the jet. If the vent/overflow if blocked it'll do that as the float won't rise... it's trying to compress the air in the float bowl and can't. NonMember
As YS says, check the breather vent on the float lid. If that's blocked, even with the fuel level below the float shut-off, the incoming fuel will pressurise the float chamber and push fuel out through the jet.
