mark powell
I want to build my own exhaust system for my Midge The immediate stumbling block is locating a mild steel flange for the 13/60 single down pipe. It's a 3 bolt flange (as you all know...) with a 45mm i/d aperture. Does anyone know where I can find one, or am I going to have to cut one away from an existing down pipe? I think the i/d of a new pipe is less than the 45 mm i/d of the pipe I want to use? So using the stub off a new pipe may be restrictive? Any suggestions gratefully received. Nick Jones
Piece of 8 or 10mm plate, 45mm holesaw and an angle grinder? I know there’s nothing wrong with your metalworking skills! 🙂 Nick
