  1. Appreciate the idea JohnD but have to disagree at the moment. Yes - many of our members would and could access an online magazine, but we have to remember that the Club must cater for all its members, and there are still a substantial number who do not use the internet. As an AO, I know I have a considerable number of members who do not use email and we must assume that they would not be able to access an online copy. For my part - I welcome the chance to get away from a screen and pick up the Courier which is always a good read. We are members of other small and local clubs, a couple of whose magazines we do get online. They have neither the content or the size of the Courier and another point is that many of us struggle with big downloads (yes we are in rural Devon with a max speed of 1.5MG on a good day). I find that, although I regularly read the online versions, my husband rarely does and I think that may be the case in a lot of households. Apart from that, the Courier is a powerful marketing tool for us at events and I would be loathe to see it turn into online only.

Thoroughly recommend trip to Lubenham - not only for Club Shop but the time lime of Heralds is worth seeing and lots of achive material too. If you are going up to the NEC in November, you can order from Club Shop to collect there too. Look forward to seeing you at Devon events when you can make it. Sue
  3. An early heads up for Drive it Day 2015. Date will be Sunday 26 April. We will be visiting the newly revamped Haynes Motor Museum at Sparkford. Concessionary entrance rates etc. We are hoping that we will get support from all over the far South West and maybe even further (!). How about marking your diaries now and we will be contacting all AOs when we have more details. From all accounts the improvements and extensions opened this year make this a place which must be visited.
  4. Don't forget the autumn Southwest Triumph meet will be on Sunday 21 September at Route 38 American Diner. If you've not been before, it is on the A38 at Trerulefoot Roundabout not far from Plymouth. All Triumphs welcome from 11am. An informal get together for all Clubs.
