  1. Lots of requests on various Triumph Facebook groups asking for whereabouts of cars which people used to own and / or want to trace. Obviously no info can be given due to GDPR constraints but could we perhaps have a new thread on this Forum for this?
  2. Some photos of our amazing Devon Borders Run. Around 40 cars took part. Each 'petal' from North,South, East and West ended at Okehampton, with around 100 miles per petal.
  3. Nearly 60 cars registered for our Devon Borders Run on Sunday. Starting from 4 points North South East and West or any point in between. Should be at Okehampton's White House Services early mid afternoon. Even if you do not bring your car along, why not meet at the finish for a big photoshoot? Huge thanks to Jon Chartres and Rob Lingard for planning and facilitating this social non competitive drive.
  4. Heralds at Silverstone.

  5. Fantastic weekend - thank you to the TSSC crew, everyone who volunteered to make this joint event a huge success.

  6. Fuel starvation issue with my 13/60. Slight hesitation a couple of weeks ago then picked up and ran home OK. Nothing found. Not so today. 8 miles from home on dual carriageway started to die. Left main road thankfully before she died completely. Filled up, she was on about a quarter tank, then got progressively worse. No fuel to fuel pump. Guess blockage in tank. Got going again by blowing it through but guess now it is tank out?
  7. Lots of great new content in the catalogue. Hope lots of members use the Club Shop to get stuff.
  8. Saw smart white Herald or Vitesse up on Dartmoor yesterday. We were doing a Treasure Hunt in the Stag so did not have a real chance to identify. Looked nice. We were travelling towards the Two Bridges Hotel - I think!
  9. Devon have planned a great day's driving on Sunday 23 July. To coincide with our national Borders Runs, we will have four start points, North, South, East and West of our big county. All Triumph cars welcome. All routes are around 100 miles long. This is a completely non competitive, social drive, finishing at White House Services at Okehampton mid afternoon for a photoshoot. Let me know - sue@jassy.org.uk - soonest if you would like to join us. I need names, email and mobile numbers and your anticipated start point. 2023-EastDevon.zip 2023-NorthDevon.zip 2023-SouthDevon.zip 2023-WestDevon.zip

  14. One with a happy ending. 57 Jag stolen in Devon recently in a particularly nasty burglary which involved the resident being tied up. Car later recovered and arrests made. It does sometimes happen. Wishing the owner a complete recovery.
  15. TC1 - loving your stable of cars. Did you know that the Spitfire was originally registered in Devon with the OD plate. My late father was always petrified he would get a car with an S in front!!! Not sure they ever issued those though!
  16. Thank you Tom for a really interesting session this evening. Will be in touch re a devon@tssc.org email address.
  17. Saw this car twice in one day - on the Totnes to Avonwick road in South Devon. Anyone on here?
  18. I have in my mind the Club AO meeting and AGM is scheduled for Sunday 16 April - can anyone confirm please?
  19. Devon registered DV. Welcome to the Club and enjoy your car.

  21. Welcome Iain. Enjoy your car. Join your local Area meetings etc where you will find a wealth of knowledge on the ground as well as on this Forum. Whereabouts are you?

  23. There are two new boards in the HQ entrance. One for Members of the Year, and the other one, still to be filled in, will commemorate those we have lost. The whole entrance area looks really good now. Well done to everyone who made it happen. Being well down South, I don't get there often enough, but for anyone within easy(ish) reach it is highly recommended. And if you did not go to the AGM, you missed some damn fine cake!
  24. Not sure you are correct. My Stag is modded so that all 4 come on on dipped beam. MOT'd annually with no problems.
  25. To complete this survey, which so many members have been asking for, you DO NOT HAVE TO SIGN IN TO GOOGLE. It clearly states that you should do so IF you want to save your progress. I have done it in a few minutes without having to sign in though I did pause for a moment when I saw that. The red asterisks clearly state which sections are mandatory and 'Sign in to Google' is not one of them! As an Area Organiser, I am encouraging all my members in Devon to complete the survey, either online or via the printed version which I understand will be in the October Courier. Hope to meet lots of the Forum members at the AGM and Angie's leaving celebrations on Saturday. Incidentally, with no offence intended, why is it all the blokes moaning about the survey - does this prove that Men are from Mars and Women from Venus or is there a deeper reason!!
