I recently purchased a Front Drivers side Millboard Panel for my 1600/6 from "Canleys" and asked them if I could buy the Plastic push Clips as I needed them for the under Dash Millboard? and they said they don't supply them seperately as the Millboards come from the manufacterer, They asked how many I needed and gave me them FREE! Well Chuft!! Thank You Canley!

Hi! When I fitted it on my 1600/6 (Back Last Year) I rang "Canley Classics" where I purchased the Gasket from and was told it can fit either way! So I fitted mine with the stamp up and its been fine!

So is it worth changing the Calipers to 14s? but I already have a Servo??

Yes! The 3 screw hold the Sunvisors to the Window Frame! There are No Holes for the Sunvisor End Brackets! and the Visors that I have are different to the Early Model Vitesse 1600/6 and different(Black) to the MK1 2ltr 1966 Sept Model??

Hi Pete! Mine is a Convertible 1600/6 and looking at the Sun visors they have a inner cut out for the mirror and that is the only support, as the visors don't have any hole to fit the end brackets(There is a end bracket set on Ebay £30) but as far as i can see These are the original sunvisors that came with the car in 1998 when I purchased it! And it has enough support from the centre 3 screws? (SEE Next Text)

Hi! I'm going thro the 1600/6 and Mk1 Vitesse Parts Manual looking to see what "Screws" I need for fitting the Sunvisors back into the car! I have the "3" for the Centre of the screen(Mirror). But on the parts Diagram it shows a Bracket on both ends of the Visors which screw into the corners(Door openings)? There are holes on the window frame but there are not any brackets on the ends of the sunvisor and no holes to fit them?? So the only support is from the mirrors! Is this correct??

Hi Pete! The fuse box was shorting , so fitted a new one which is now fine! Both the brake and side lights come on together so have the both filiments on in the bulb? and the front and rear indicators are not working?

Hi! Just an update on the Electrics! I still don't have the "Indicators" working and the "Brake Lights" come on and they are not even connected up to the foot brake?? Altho the sidelights are working front and rear! I changed the (New 2 years ago and never fitted) Flasher Unit? for another New one! I cant do anymore as I don't have the knowledge so I have a Auto Electrician coming over next week lol🤣

Are the holes for the "Sun Visors" a different size to the "Hood Catches? They seem smaller??

Hi! I'm trying to find the above screw for my Hood catches but "Canley" don't do them only "Rimmer does and they are £14.50 for x 8(which I find expensive)?? My local Fastners cant get them! anyone know of a cheaper supplier? or am I out of sync??

Had a chat again with "Canley"! Apparently they (158966) will fit, but the indicator Stalk is approx 3-4" shorter so "Awkward" if you have the full size Steering Wheel and you also would have to change the "Cancelling Clip"! The End
