    Hi! Don Hoods just emailed me a copy of the Instructions? Not a lot of use!! I'm only able to do small jobs on the car as I have been ill! My concentration is minimum at present. so looking back through the "Courier" Mags is not an option. Its taken me 3 days to fit up the Hood Frame LOL!

    Hi All! The Retainer Screws for the Alloy Weather and Rubber strip are showing as PTO 453 but are discontinued? But there is no info on what Size etc they are? Can anyone help please? Cheers Martyn

    Hi All! Back to the fitting Instructions! Has anyone out there "Had Instructions" when they purchased a New Hood??

    Yep! I also had to take the Hood Frame apart! Rub down and Paint it! Clean and white grease the movable parts and bend the damaged/bent parts back in line. Drill out the damaged screws in the Header Rail and fit new. Lol! This Vitesse hasn't been on the road since 1985! Put Windscreen in this morning!

    Thanks Gary! I don't even know what one looks like! Again my Hood and Frame disappeared when it went into storage at Hereford, so I managed to get another frame but found that this piece was missing? I need to get a photo of one from somewhere to see if I can improvise! Cheers again!

    Vitesse 1600/6 Well I managed to get a Used Hood Header Rail! BUT! the slotted screw have been drilled then the tops ripped off?? What is the best way to get the screws out as they are able to move back and forth within the slot?

    Hi! My 1966 1600/6 had the small counter sunk screws also! as shown above! I have not seen those clips tho! As the screws no longer fit the hood frame so, I am thinking of using the 1/8" pop rivets

    Hi All! I have managed to get a Photo of the "Header Black Facia Board" where as you can see the Hood Catches screw into? I need the "Facia Board" or a old one I can take a Template from?? Cheers Martyn

    Okay! Still no answer from Spitbitz! There's a well worn pale blue herald on ebay and on close up I can see that it has a black facia on the header rail! ?? That is what Im after! Can anyone help!! Cheers Martyn
