If John's tip does not provide a clue try running it with the belt off to take the alternator/water pump out of the equation.

Sounds like floating debris in the tank blocking the pickup.
Good tip John. I had something similar several years ago and eventually found a piece of neutrally buoyant plastic wrapper in the tank that would sometimes settle over the outlet, then 'float' away.

Mick,
The International liaison is looked after by John Lay (local to me) and Jess Smale on 'international-liaison@tssc.org'

How many support or donate to Labour?
I am afraid I dislike this political dialogue but, like much of the debate on political/military/world affairs, it is not as clear cut as some believe. Nuance is a apparently a dying art.

Rich,
I've gone down the inspection plate route, and go down the groaning route when I have to remove the tunnel. The drawback I think I can see with your idea is that you have to remove the carpet to get the leeway required to get the cover over the gearlever. This would then require the H support to be removed anyway.

James Paddock score very highly with me, they'll phone up on receipt of an online order just to confirm it's the correct part
They get the same thumbs up from me, all my dealings with them first class.

A good Chrome Boot Handle & Key? 2 x Rear Overiders and 2 x Front Overiders? Dont mined NEW or Very Good Seconds
I would try Spitbitz as they have decent amount of stock and may be able to help. Dropped some Herald bits off yesterday to them that came into my possession via a chums garage clean up.

What do others think of Rain-X?
Been using it for many years with the GT6 and first class results. Sometimes it seems you only need the wipers when the car is stationary, rest of the time the water just runs off.

That doesn't sound fun!
You are absolutely correct!

You are correct. It can sometimes be a fiddle to get the belt fitted once the interior trim is in place, but from the photo that is some time away.

Good morning to Norway from a very wet South Coast! It is the 'spring bar' that the quarter bumper/over rider attaches to in order to provide some strength rather than just bolting to the body work.

Aidan,
Just had my O/D gearbox off and then back on the engine (thrust washer issue). Engine is on a stand and a chum was able to lift the gearbox by hand whilst I did the alignment and got a couple of bolts in place. If you must do it on your own follow John's advice.

Dick where are you?
'Anchors Away' is the march of the USN as opposed to the RN and some other Commonwealth navies who have' Heart of Oak'.
When weighing (raising) anchor the sequence is 'anchor aweigh' (off the sea bed), ' anchor clear of the water' (I can see it), 'clear anchor' (nothing entangled, hopefully, like old cable, wire, bits of old cars etc). That really is nautical drifting!

Is there any way of identifying the owners of our club cars in relation to you guys?
At new/big events I stick a name card in the windscreen and have never found a problem with people not connecting the two.

things will change as i re skin doors
For what it's worth following my Resettlement Course at Contour Autocraft some 17 years ago I would recommend re-skinning the doors first then build/fit around those. This is most appropriate when it comes to sills and the B Post. It was too late for me by then!

I would recommend giving Mike Papworth a call, details in The Courier and not too far away.
