  3. Hi Tony taken some photos below hope this shows the problem .Have previously cut the steering arms off to be able to dismantle the rest of the suspension!!!!!! maybe should have undone them before hand 🥺hind sight is a wonderful thing
  4. Update need to get a bigger spanner for the inner nut not sure of the size ?? If not I suppose I could cut the locking nut off them the track rod end will come off ???

  6. The adjuster nut end is the other end easier to undo then sort it out on a bench ??
  7. I am now replacing the front suspension on a Truimph 2000 mk 2 not sure which side is left and right on the steering arms is drivers side lhs or rhs Also not sure where they go back onto strut think one end goes on back of stub axle then not sure any ideas 💡
  8. Hi I am trying to change the track rod ends on a Truimph 2000 mk2 i have had to remove the track rod ends with a grinder but I can’t undo the nut I have tried heat and plusgas Any ideas what to do ???
  9. Thanks for all your help and answers so to get the strut off with carrier ,calliper etc undo the top three bolts at top then not sure what else to undo to get this off haven’t really done this but am gonna try !!
  10. Quick update use a blowtorch bottom nut came undone but top one still not out cant get anything behind it at all tried everything so I now think I might have to take the whole leg off is this quite easy ??? Never done it !!!

  13. Yes Colin so do I !! Top one turns quite freely both ways bottom one have tried wd40 etc over a few days will try some heat thanks for your help

  15. Got one side off ok started on the other side bolts stuck fast !!! got the top one loosened but now it won’t come out just turns both ways without coming out any ideas how to get it out and what damage bottom one won’t turn at all Any ideas 💡?? Thanks Mark
  16. Hi am starting to get my project up and running have got the engine running after 10-12 years in a garage it has a high lift cam fitted so wondered if anyone knew what the timing should be ??? Have it set at about 25 degrees BTDC at the moment runs ok ?? thanks Mark

Hi just asking a few questions regarding my 2000 which I have stripped the back brakes and cleaned the front after not being on the road for 10/12 years I was going to replace flexible hoses all round ,new cyclinder on back wheels and buy a calliper repair kit but discs are £82 on Rimmers each.Do any other work as well ?? or other places to try ?? Normal hoses or braided ones ?? Thanks Mark

  20. Hi have taken the head off and now putting it back I have some large wide washers and some narrower ones can't remember which ones go where can anyone help
