Vitesse 1600/6 Indicator Stalk 125SA

Hi!  The above Stalk 125SA has now been discontinued would  a 158966 fit my 1600/6?  As I have been told that this new code has a different Cancelling?

To be honest both types will work ok, there may be enough projection for both single or double types to be activated, but the cancelling clamp on the steering column can also be changed to suit if necessary.

Canley are stating it wont fit but Rimmer and a few on Ebay are saying they will fit the 1600/6?  They are Lucus ones and I cant find a 125SA anywhere!  Will try Paddocks as last shot.

James Paddock states Early Vitesse Lucas 158966 as per Rimmer ??

Had a chat again with "Canley"!  Apparently they (158966) will fit,  but the indicator Stalk is approx 3-4" shorter so "Awkward" if you have the full size Steering Wheel and you also would have to change the "Cancelling Clip"!  The End

That one is used, there are a number of brand new ones listed for about £38.

Hi,

I bought what I thought was 1360, only t9 discover it was a 1200 with a 1360 bonnet. Of the severel things that is different is the column light stalk. Have tried on ebay to source one, a five lead 1360 one too avail, iwas hoping that  someone more knowledgeable might be able to help with an alternative suggestion.

You're missing the headlamp flash of the later cars? (Later stalks are also shorter with a rounded end as opposed to the long more angled end of the earlier) If you have a 1200, which never had a headlamp flash facility, then are you able to 'plumb in' the flash cable to the existing 1200 loom? It may take a bit of surgery.

Part number is 147277. 1200 owners just get used to pulling the master light switch out very quickly when they need to flash at anyone.
