chrishawley
Couple of options 1) Spaldings, but mostly that's stainless items. https://www.spaldingfasteners.co.uk/10-32-unf-a2-stainless-steel-countersunk-philips-head-machine-screws/ 2) If it particularly has to be BZP, then Namrick is a good place to go. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/204002092765?hash=item2f7f78e6dd:g:kTYAAOSwuXJisakJ&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAA0JBb6GrMeDCv%2Fs5J9G7qPHtLflf11OzwPhabEcayJBlPcMNUpzeWxoM1Q8pfbE19h0VXvIV9fQLmNiYxNjR%2FlhOWMlq5VDHwdPx7ivYXLaPBhSuC5K1Q14iq%2BrVNdnx0wa7boLZMOmn4BW21fjAddFKRpmKdTgcLV2R8wwcnuVDDmjeEeyJoIM3VjCSSa%2FyS1H2ROWSz7ZDeJIv3IL0%2FjKxl8oJ%2FoTxHmCwLQilri1wtCSmywuX53R4V0J6%2F9AV%2BX%2FIbgqmre5XSHZ5P28DqH9s%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR8Tqwp7BYg And just to check that it's Phillips countersunk rather than raised countersunk (RSK). If it's a visible part (e.g. the screws securing a sunvisor) RSK is commonly used.
Colin Lindsay
If you check the spares catalogue they'll tell you what they originally were. 509210, setscrew, countersunk pozi 32UNF x 1/2". If you search for those on eBay you get 10 for about a fiver. I used the raised heads myself on the actual catches, a nice slightly domed head but not so domed that it gets in the way. martyn wright
Thanks gentlemen! I just ordered them from "Spaldings" !
Colin Lindsay
Spaldings are superb, one of my main ports of call these days. Incidentally the same screws are used on the inner door handles of Herald and Vitesse, and also the boot lid to frame screws that you can see on the bootlid. I bought a quantity of them in varying lengths, both flat and domed, for future projects.
martyn wright
Are the holes for the "Sun Visors" a different size to the "Hood Catches? They seem smaller??
Colin Lindsay
The convertible sun visors are self tappers, not bolts / setscrews, and definitely smaller.
