Nigel MK1V
I would be very grateful to anybody who might have a Spitfire MK1V produced before commission number FH16996 which might still have the two original Clear Hooters horns fitted. On page S6 (01-68) of the parts catalogue the horns are listed as: 156277/2 Horn, Super Post -RH 156278/2 Horn, High Note - LH Could you possibly confirm the right hand horn is marked HH and the left horn just H. I believe the super post refers to a HH horn. Very high note. But I might be wrong on this. A photo of the two horns would be brilliant. Thanking eveybody in advance for any help. Colin Lindsay
Used on other cars of the period, I found this one for sale under 'Sunbeam'. Also marked 116 on the body, if that's a model number.
