DVD3500 Posted Tuesday at 11:52 Report Share Posted Tuesday at 11:52 I am always looking for nice 1/32, 1/25 or 1/24 Triumph models/toys!
Eric Smith Posted Tuesday at 14:47 Report Share Posted Tuesday at 14:47 Hi DVD250 - At the weekend I picked up a boxed set of two Triumph cars in OO HO 1/76 scale the box contains a Triumph Vitesse Mk2 convertible in a baby blue colour and a Triumph Roadster 20TR in a Maroon colour. The models are made by Precision Die - Cast Models Exclusive First Editions both of the models appear to be unopened the box is a little battered but it’s essentially an unused boxed set. I got it to give to a friend who is refurbishing his model train set but he is now looking for different models so if you are looking for a Triumph models let me know. Get a whitemetal kit from KR Replicas like I did, then you can create a miniature replica of your pride and joy! Gav
DVD3500 Posted Wednesday at 15:02 Report Share Posted Wednesday at 15:02 They're 1/43 scale though aren't they?

But as you prob know available models of the Vitesse are pretty rare. There is a ready made one in, I think, a larger scale but it retails around £150-200 ! Peter Truman Posted Wednesday at 21:00 Report Share Posted Wednesday at 21:00 Didn't like the finish of the Vitesse model cars available they looked a little clunky and thick in the window pillars etc so I modified a cheap Vanguards 1:43 scale Herald conifer green convertible model drilled out the bottom rivet painted and trimmed the interior red, trimmed the front grill shorter and fitted twin headlights from a Stag, it's missing the correct reversing light cover and the bit of chrome behind the petrol cap, OH and the Rostyle wheels but I'll get there. What I like is all panels are in proportion, not too thick or swage lines too prominent, and more to the point CHEAP and fun to modify!
