Adrian Cooper
I've just spotted this on Ebay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/263737404309?ul_noapp=true Are those window frames a Triumph option/prototype or a home made modification? I've never seen anything like them before. Adrian
thescrapman
That looks like a standard Mk2 with a factory hard top on it. can't see what is different
Clive
It has a frame around the windows. I would be extremely (very) surprised if that was a factory prototype. I would put money on it being a homebrew jobbie at some point. But no idea why you would do it.....
NonMember
After losing a door glass to a slightly over-enthusiastic opening of the door, my brother might have an idea why. Alternatively, since the factory determined that a quarter-light was required on the GT6 because the Spitfire suffered from the glass bowing out at speed when a hardtop was fitted, perhaps that's a reason.
