I've owned my Spitfire since 2002, bought off a friend for £150. It wasn't a total wreck as it had been off the road since 1991 so really wasn't too bad. I did a total body off job at the time as parts were cheap & easily available then. After being off the road for the last couple of years for various reasons, it's back again with all the best bits I have collected over the years. It's a 1300 SC with Mk111 cam, HS6 carb, straight thro' exhaust, alloy bellhousing & 3 rail O/D box. 250 miles on & it's going really well.
