dougbgt6
Got mine from the club shop, £20 cheaper than Moss, but when it arrived it had a Moss label on it! Odd. Club must've got it from Moss trade, but couldn't bring themselves to put Moss's mark up on it. Doug
Douglas Arnold
Thanks very much Doug,, I only got the car late August and so hopefully probably March,,, April,, I would like to get the tunnel changed and get the gear linkage mechanism sorted at the same time,,,, the engine runs fine,,, just seems to be a bit of play in the gears,,, then a complete carpet job.. dougbgt6
Doug, Slack in the gear linkage is a common problem, but easily fixed, once you've got the cowl off! I don't know about the 1360 but on the GT6 it's handy to cut a hole in the cowl to give access to the gearbox so that you don't have to take the cowl off every time you want to top up the gear box oil. I'm part way through doing my carpets, but it's too cold at the moment, so I'm also waiting for March/April when it's a bit warmer. Doug

Doug Thanks for the advice regarding the cowl,,,, I am not confident enough to tackle the job myself,,,,, I have a mate who is a mechanic and he served his apprenticeship on the cars of that era, so I think he will be doing the job,,,, and I will have to check out an upholstery company near me that specialises in classics ,,, Thanks Doug
