The outer metal loop is a lot bigger than the inner one presumably to allow for some relative movement and the important item is the rubber bush inside the smaller loop which cant be seen in the photos - that should be in good condition or the spring will waggle around on the vertical link bolt.... I photographed two when I replaced my incorrect GT6 rear spring - which is the faded one on the right from a late Spitfire - with a correct GT6 Mk3 version, on the left.
