yorkshire_spam Posted November 8, 2019 Report Share Posted November 8, 2019 So the ring sets I got with my new pistons (Spitfire 1500) have got me stumped. The top 2 rings are straight forward. But the oil ring packet contains 4 parts (I was expecting 3!) Of the 4 parts it's clear which are the top and bottom (thin) rings and which is the centre part (the 3 bits on the left), but what's the shaped piece of spring steel?
