martyn wright
Hi All! The Trim Covers on my vehicle are a very worn "Beige" Colour and the ones that I have seen around at shows & Ebay! are the same Colour? Has anyone tried covering them with a "Vinyl" covering to match the interior trim ie: mine is Black? if so what Bonding spray do you use? Or is that a No No! in the Classic Original World? Cheers Martyn
Colin Lindsay
You mean the metal convertible trims? Hammerite (yuck) Magnolia is a close colour match to the original off-white but i too would be interested in hearing of any product that will match the original thick plastic-like finish. griffipaul
I have covered mine in vinyl . Just used a cheap e bay spray adhesive that I used when refurbishing seat foams. B post covers could be better , but improvement over original grotty white ones . I wanted them to match trim also. Re originality , your car do what you like to it . griffipaul
As you can see I painted the hood aperature surround black also to match interior.
