Brooky
Anybody got an idea of what seats from a more modern car would fit nicely in a GT6, any pictures? Cheers
Nigel Clark
Mazda MX-5 seats are a popular conversion for Spitfires and TRs, and they are easy enough to fit. Not hard to find them second hand either. However, they do raise the seating position, so not suitable if you're tall. Alternatively, there are always plenty of classic style bucket seats on eBay, like these: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Corbeau-Classic-Fixed-Bucket-Seat-Historic-Period-Racing-Standard-Size/113525506072?hash=item1a6ea5c018:g:eJgAAOSwKSlcMNSm Nigel
dougbgt6
If you're looking for comfort, replacing the foams in the seats makes a great difference and cheaper than new seats. Doug
Brooky
Cheers, Id thought of MX5 seats and bucket seats, they look good those Nigel. The look of some new style mini cooper S seats look nice too and are comfy enough, we have and have had a few of those as daily cars. Yes re foaming them would make them more comfy but I think they look too flat and old style. Cheers for your replies 👍
