daverclasper
Hi Does anyone have a rough idea of how much change there is by adding a front and rear shim at the lower wishbone brackets. I've read the angle would alter by one degree, though would like to get an idea of the distance, the top, outer edge of tyre will move inwards. Thanks, Dave
Casper
One shim changes castor appx. 0.5° and camber appx. 0.25°, so one shim on both front and rear mount is approx 0,5 degrees of camber with no change of castor. See Courier 158 August 1993, 159 September 1993 and 160 October 1993 has full details. Worth a read. C.
Clive
And don't forget it alters the tracking/toe in too.
