Colin Lindsay
I wonder what condition the seals are? They're the hard to find bit of the assembly...
Badwolf
Colin - Don't COH Baines have something suitable by the yd/metre?
Colin Lindsay
I haven't had to look as I bought seals from Canleys (probably when they were John Kipping) and I still haven't used them; they've been safely stored so should still be usable. However: not available for years, so alternatives are always welcome.
Paul H
Just noticed this on Facebook , Rarebits “ I've finally pushed forward with a product I have been planning for some time. Windscreen seals for the Triumph Herald 948 Saloon and Courier Van have been unavailable for some years. This is the simple fluted design which does not use a shiny filler strip. I have provisional pricing on producing tooling for these to be extruded in high quality EPDM. The material will match what has been used in recent years for my Herald Coupe windscreen and Herald Estate side window seals. These will be supplied as a cut length of 3.2metres,to be trimmed for exact fit on installation. Price is estimated at £50 per seal, plus carriage. If you have a need for one of these, please add a reply to this message so that I can gauge interest in producing a small run of these.” Paul
Colin Lindsay
Great to see Bill still working away; I miss his stall at shows (then again I just miss shows...) I must keep an eye on his products; there are new things coming out all the time, going by his posts.
