Hi . I am trying to find out when i last had my car valued by the club . Dont know if i have misplaced some paperwork but can i check with the club when it was last valued, and who to contact, thanks

THANKS EVERYONE ,already done the single rail and o/d swap,fellow from Leamington sorted me i think it was a Toledo 6 .1/2 inch clutch plate 21 spline . Now where do i get a good 1300 or 1500 engine. or shall i get my old one rebuilt. Dont tell the wife.

it was not so much about not declaring anything but more about what size engine i could squeeze in without too much hassle.

Just done a quick search but not found any answers.Just a question about my old burnt out 1300 spitfire4 engine.could i do a straight swap for a 1500 engine without too much hassle from insurers .Thank Alan.

Hi ,Just reading through some of the scribblings.I assume that the rattle gun mentioned is a trade name for an impact gun. that is what most tyre fitters call them cos they rattle

thank for the reply Pete. on the hs2 their is no insert listed but i will try a bit of effort to get the washer over the tube ,I think the pipe from the jet may have swollen over time and that is why the washer won't fit Will try again tomorrow if its sunny.Thanks.

Hi O people of knowledge, Have been trying to replace the main jets on my spitfire4 but cannot get the seals at the bottom of the float chambers to seal . petrol everywhere, in the Haynes manuel it says metal washer first but in the Rimmer cat it says rubber washer in first .Have tried both ways but still no good seal . Am doing them on the car . is it worth taking them of the car . i have got new seals and new washers. is the washer and seal supposed to fit over the jet tube,which at the moment the washer will not. Hope someone can help . Thank Alan
