Hi Again! Thanks for the info on Electronic Ignition! I have decided to change the Ignition Coil & HT Leads due to the car being laid up since 1998? with new! If I go down the Standard route, Canley state GCL110 for the coil but others state different codes? Would Lucas DLB105 work? Any ideas please? Cheers Martyn

Hi All my 1966 Vitesse 1600/6 is about to have Electronic Ignition fitted! Do I need to update the standard Ignition coil to a "Sports Coil" and also "High Performance HT Leads? or is the Standard set still okay? Is there anything else I should Know? Cheers martyn

Hi All! Found some old photos and low and behold it had the "Louvered" side on the Carb side and plain on the oil filter side. This 1600/6 is the last of the 1600/6s(July) as they changed to a 2 Litre in the September 1966. Mine has a bit of everything!! Cheers Martyn

Hi Again: I have two side engine valances, one is Vented and the other is not? Does the vented one fit on the Manifold Side? I read it somewhere back last year, but can't find where! Cheers Martyn

Hi All! Is there a specific way I can Flush the Water System on my Vitesse? I have not fitted the new radiator or any of the pipes as yet. The car has been standing without water/coolant for 20 years or so? I have however cleaned the Thermostat Housing and cleaned a small amount of rust gathered in the bottom. Cheers martyn

Hi All! I am after a picture of how the sill is fitted to the chassis? (one already fitted to a herald/vitesse) I understand that the holes are for self tap screws and the tabs are for spot weld to the chassis, but on top of the sill is a half oval plate with a hole? I need a photo to show the Restorer/ Sprayer at the garage as the STNs nor the Workshop Manual give very good diagrams? HELP! Martyn

Hi All! Having checked my front Side Lights/Indicators on my 1966 Vitesse 6, I found that I could not save the Backing Plates due to rust? I have been looking at Canley/Rimmer and Paddock but they do not sell these separately! Canley do the Herald 13/60 Backing but are these the same as my vehicle? My vehicle has 2 x protruding bulb holders at the back of the plate. The front lens is a "V" shape and not a flat type. Also is L584 the correct item code for my late Vitesse? Cheers Martyn
