  1. Hi Colin! I did not realise that they sat on top of each other!! That is geat and thanks yet again, its hard trying to put something back together that you did not take apart and the Manuals are not exactly up to date? Old pic etc!
  2. Hi! I meant that I did not have a hole in the inner sill?? I have a hole on the bottom of the B post in the floor each side! and 2 on top of the Tunnel(All Early Model). As for the top B Post Holes I will check? I will need 2 x Bottom Right, (I dont have the Y Bracket? What do I need for the Top of the Tunnel?) 2 x Top Right for connecting! and 2 x top left? Basically are the ones that are on your previous seat belt picture in Grey what I need? its the top of the tunnel I am worried about?
  3. Hi Colin! The previous pics you sent me show the 2 holed Top Belt Bracket fixed to the top of the B Post! On this pic you showed the lower B Post hole which is in the Inner Sill (which I do not have ) It might be better for me to drill a hole in the floor at the bottom of the B Post and re-enforce it? and on the Tunnel, am I able to still able to purchase a Y Bracket which would bolt onto the two holes that I have or would the ordinary plates on the end of the seat belts just screw in?
  4. Hi Colin! Obviously I do not have any seat belts at present, but I have pictures of the holes: 1. I have one each side of the Tunnel (size of a 20p piece)? 2. Again shows 2 Holes each side of the Tunnel (ignore 3rd on Tunnels pic no good)) 3. 2 x Holes on Top of Tunnel Those Belts in the picture are the same type as I had? Don't know about the fixings though! And thats all I have? QuickSB came back to me and asked if I wanted the Classic Buckle type £65 + Vat for the front. Cheers martyn
  5. Hi Pete! On fitting the rear Seat Belts, They were Lap Belts, but obviously the holes are wrong! I don't want to go drilling everywhere and if I pit the short belts in the centre its awkward to get at, because of the axle/drive shaft tunnel? Cheers Martyn
  6. Hi All! On fitting the rear Seat Belts, I decided to leave them off! I will fit the front though, I have contacted QuickfitSB but they have not answered yet? Sod it!!
  7. Hi! Kriky! The holes on mine cannot be correct then! Do you know what other use the holes would be for? Assuming you've seen my pics? Cheers Martyn
  8. Hi Pete!  Did you see the photos of the rear seat belts?  Cheers martyn

  9. Hi ! Pete this is what on the car? and I am thinking of not bothering with the back? Cheers martyn
  10. Hi All! On fitting the rear Seat Belts, I am looking to place the reinforcing plate upside down underneath the floor, weld into place and then fit a very large washer and, screw the bolt and seatbelt plate down through the floor into the plate! This helps the underside of the seat as the nut on top of the plate would make the seat uneven.? or I can leave the seatbelts out of the back and just fit front 3 point statics? What do you think??
  11. Hi Colin! Yes! I have been trying to figure out what those two holes with grommets are as well? I have the plate x 4 purchased them from Bad Boy Classics - £6.95! Where you have 2 x holes near the base of the B Post I only have one each side but I did have plates welded in so possability they did not replace the other. I will need to look for the other holes at the top of the B Post? Many Thanks for your help! Martyn
  12. Hi Pete! Okay not to worry i will sort it! Kind Regards Martyn
  13. HI Pete! I have the old photo and there are no signs of the small loops for the seatbelts! I do not have a bracket on the Tunnel only 2 x Holes as per the Owners Handbook (Fig8 F674) (Blanking screws fitted to the tunnel anchorage point). On your photo you have 1 single hole in the floor each side under the B post, what are these for? because I have the same(no1 on my photo) and what I can see from your photo is that by the rear of the runners you have 1 x hole and I have x2(no3 on my photo) Do you know what these are for? Hope this makes sense??
  14. HI Pete! No1 & 3 are the same size pre drilled holes? and are on both rear floor panels in exactly the same positions? Cheers martyn
  15. Hi Colin! See Photo: 1 is on floor next to B Post 2 is on floor next to Tunnel 3 is next to bottom seat by runners
  16. Well! Thank You all for the input! I was fitting Seat Belts for our own safety! I will now stick to Static 3 point Belts as there are none on the car! I have the original plugged hole to fit the new set. My brother can have the non-angle inerta ones for his Viva. Anyone know who has the best and cheapest ones please?
  17. OH! As I dont have the hood frame yet (At Sprayers) I cant check? I can see me fitting Static Belts at this rate! Cheers Martyn
  18. Hi Colin! The ones I have can only be fitted vertically? but if the Reel is fitted securely to the bottom of the "B" post surely they would work? or am I missing something!
  19. Hi Pete/Colin! The unit that holds the reel of belt would be Vertical fitted to the bottom of the "B" Post then looking at it, there is room approx 1"or 2" from the top to fit the other part of the seat belt? I haven't tried it yet as it takes two to assess where the belt fits over the shoulder? If you see what I mean! As far as I see I should be able to fit a inerta fixed reel to my Converable? after looking at the "Fitting of Seatbelts" you sent Colin!
