Paypal have opened a case against a buyer, on my behalf, who paid me in full at time of purchase and has received the goods from me in good time. Neither of us can understand why and the entire system seems to be automated. I'm still trying to sort that one out.
That's a strange one Colin, i have never had that before.....

Hi Paul, Pete and Colin..... thanks for you recommendations, I will certainly give them a try. Incidentally, I purchased some items off gumtree last week, the transfer of funds was done, since then, I haven’t heard anything from the seller after me contacting him every day since. I think I’ve been scammed!
If you payed via Paypal you can open a case with them and get your money back.

Try to avoid the big boys Dave and go for one of the small firms. If you can take it to them? It will be cheaper. The last one i had fitted was about 5yrs ago and was £40.

Hi Colin, dont bother....... get the proffesionals in. They will do it in a fraction of the time and it's not expensive.
Tony. PS, welcome to the forum.

You could also try a screw driver across the solenoid nuts, if it turns over then? you have an ignition wiring fault. You will have a few sparks
Dont worry though.

No doubt back in the day condom manufacturers were crying over the diminishing availability of lamb's intestines... and then someone went: look, we've invented a rubber variety....
...and then the detractors went: yeah, but is it ethanol resistant?
No Colin, i think they said... we had better start removing them from the lamb first

I wonder if it's just rusted solid Karl? Very strange you are able to remove the woodruff key......

As Colin says, just put a washer on the back all sizes are readi;y available on fleabay. You might have to cut down/modify but you still get the pins in various sizes and not expensive like these https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/50-x-Brake-Shoe-Pins-Suits-ROVER-Length-42-mm-Brake-Shoe-Retaining-Pin-BR52-1-2/183650292518?hash=item2ac2691326:g:cuAAAOSwWN5cSFkn

I had a similar problem with oil pressure readings last year. Ok til warm then low reading/warning light. Replaced both pressure warning light sensor and oil pressure releif valve and all now fine. It was running on Wilko 20/50 oil but now replaced with Classic Oils Heritage 20/50 and running nicely at the moment. The last time I made a comment about something running well, it failed the next week!!
I have heard similar problems with Wilko 20/50 Badwolf, but do you know they do two types? One is the standard 20/50 the other is "classic" 20/50 a couple of quid dearer. I have used the latter with no problem. Which did you use?

Did the same with a Stanley spirit level, stopped on a busy one way and dodged cars to get it. It was still straight and the bubbles accurate.
I can sell you some new bubbles Dave
I dont mind selling them as i have a few spare.

GT6 brake pipe to servo
in Braking System
Posted
Hi Dave, if you have adjusted the handbrake without adjusting the shoes, you will have a soft pedal even with self adjusting brakes....Where is the servo mounted? A pal of mine had a similar problem with his GT6 and he put a bleed nipple in a t-piece higher than the servo and problem was solved. Adjust your rear footbrake first and if that does'nt work i will take a photo of my mates set up.
