If you have a look at posters profiles it should tell you who they are - mine certainly does.
Mike
Yours is one of the few profiles that does say who you are, not that it was too hard to guess from your forum user name!
Nearly all are bereft of information, take for instance "mishmosh", I know he is male and comes from Shrewsbury. And he owns a Bond and a Herald.
But not much else, but I do also know he is a moderator, because it says that.
Mine is no better I have to admit, but there is a clue in that it says I am the Suffolk AO... :-)
I have also noticed looking on the main site that a number of the profiles of COM members have yet to be updated from the default.
Perhaps someone needs to make something up, rather than have the default page showing.
Cheers

Colin, there isn't an anonymous Admin lurking if you don't mind, I'm a real person and the Forum labels me as Admin because I set it up not because I choose to be anonymous. As Mike Crews' hinted at you'll see I'm Simon Morgan

Afternoon Simon
I had assumed it was either you, or someone at HQ, but it was not actually mentioned anywhere, well not that I could find.
I had hoped for a "sticky" thread or similar listing the admins / moderators / etc so that "key" posters could be identified.
At the moment there are lots of defaults set (not a problem, apart from perhaps to John, who fancies a bit of colour in his life) but it does seem to identify people with roles, for instance the moderators are flagged as club staff, and people may assume that they are posting in that capacity, as happened with Mike.
HAs the time now come, with the forum coming up for a month old, to setup an "administering" group, perhaps made up from some / all of the moderators, to look into personalising the forum, adding areas, splitting others etc, so removing the need for you to have sole responsibility for it, as you have better things to do elsewhere on the site.
Cheers

With NGK plugs, the lower the number the hotter the plug I think, so you need a 5 rather than a 7.

nor any member of the Club Management Team. I am just an 'umble AO with, like you, over 30 years membership.
Mike
You are more than just an 'umble AO, you are also a moderator (though not an administrator) on the forum, and also, unhelpfully, you are also identified as club "Staff" when you post.
Does there need to be a list of who is administering and who is moderating the forum, and what their roles are.
I note that there is also an anonymous admin lurking.

Can it not be personalised to feature genuine TRiumph colours??
Perhaps Saffron text on a Java background.
Add some Magenta borders, and a Topaz highlights.
Now that would be cool!

At the moment do not worry about additional categories, there are knowledgeable people checking every single posting, and will respond as needed.
In the medium term, there will be more categories, but the initial priority was to get the forum back up and live.
Post away and you will get an answer I am sure.

This is far too cryptic for me !
For the right price, there is the opportunity to have the last registered GT6. It is waiting to be registered on the date of your choosing, once you complete building it, and it should receive the current registration sequence.
It will sadly become the only GT6 liable to road tax... :-(

Why is my herald loaded so much? 1300 spit engine with od. And yet twice the un modded price Makes little sense.
It is the way they have interpretted the modifications, perhaps the way you worded it when you took out the insurance.
Can't say it is the reason, but "fitted with standard 1300 engine and Overdive from Mk4 Spitfire" may be better than "modified by fitting a Spitfire engine"

It must now be someone taking the mickey.
It just gets more and more outlandish every time.
What is with all the pages and pages copied from random books or whatever.

The damaged data probably exists somewhere, as does the data from the previous website before that.
Craigs website and forum was available via a link from the deceased website, so perhaps that could be added first as it would not have been corrupted.
If it does still exist, I guess someone will need to clean and filter the old forum info, and make it available via a suitable searchable format.

I'm contemplating changing my name by deed poll to my Alias.
Will make life a lot easier.

As mentioned those figures are fine.
I would tend to shy away from Halfords 20/50 now, especially if doing long fast journies. Try Millers Classic Sport 20/50 (about £30 a gallon) or Valvoline VR1 (About £25 a gallon if purchased from Euro Car Parts during a sale day. Can get as low as £20 a gallon on "Special" sale days)
The Millers maintained 60psi in my Spitfire whilst enduring an 11 hour journy in 40 degree heat. I didn't manage quite as well!
