Yesterday my sister and I went up to Northern Rye in Newcastle for coffee and exciting bakery products. Then today I was off to the Barnard Castle Classic and Retro Car Show. Parked next to a Coventry registered TR3, and on the other side a convertible Reliant Scimitar that happened to be owned by some local TSSC members (who have a 13/60 undergoing restoration). There were a few other Triumphs, two 1500 Spitfires and a TR4. The red 1500 had a neat L/R indicator warning light fitted. Couple of other highlights included the first ever RHD AC Cobra and a very original 1943 ex RAF Jeep. There was a run up to Middleton in Teesdale and back as part of the show, which was good fun, and a blocked road on the way home sent me round some other great twisty B roads I’d never encountered before! 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
