dougbgt6
They last longer. They are a bugger to fit!, I had to take my vice off the bench and drag it around the back of the car to squeeze them on. And, now they squeak, which is quite annoying! Pete Lewis
some are supplied with a paste to lubricate them, some fit easy some as Doug says can be a struggle then so can some of the rubbers they dont degrade like the modern rubbish rubber, and the colours define the shure hardness rating which is up to how you want the car to feel they are not as compliant as the rubbers so you will notice a change in the feel of the road and and maybe a little more noise on rough surfaces have a read on the superflex site Remove all dust, previous bush residue, paint or old grease from contact surfaces, prior to fitment. Ensure any original outer shell is not inadvertently left in place. A common mistake where the old rubber bush has unbonded from its shell. In some instances the outer shell is intentionally left in place, as described in models and descriptions on our price lists. Do not fit new bushes to worn, rusty, or distorted fittings. Worn components must be replaced. Lightly coat bush contact surfaces with assembly lubricant (where supplied) prior to fitment. Insert the stainless steel tubes (where applicable) after the bushes are installedinto their housing. Immersing high-interference fit bushes in warm water, can assist fitting in a very cold climate. Before the final tightening, suspension arms must be at normal ride height. When replacing original componentry, ensure that all nuts and bolts are tightened to original manufacturer’s specifications. Bushes must not come into contact with alcohol-based solvents such as MEK, methanol, or methylated spirt and link http://www.superflex.co.uk/hardnessguide.php pete
juppy
Just a quick note, the club shop used to sell Superflex bushes, which was actually a UK trade name for SuperPro bushes from Australia, we are now purchasing direct from SuperPro directly and for a while there will be a mix of packaging until we run out of the old stock. However full details of the benefits of Polyurethane bushes can be found on SuperPro's website. http://www.superpro.eu.com/
