Paul H
Hi, looking to remove the heater control T switch , cannot find how to do it. I can depress the ball bearing but the switch won't pull of . Any help appreciated
Colin Lindsay
It's stuck!! Make sure you're pressing the ball-bearing fully in, but otherwise lots of penetrating oil and a good firm pull with a bit of wiggling - holding both the cable and the knob - should do it. It's seized on after a few years, no doubt. Don't break it!!
Pete Lewis
Ive know these to be supa glued on when the spring and ball have departed ...... great design , has to come off to remove the control if all fails ,,,,, replacements seem few and far, there are some alternatives but not Tee bar Pete
Paul H
Thanks Pete & Colin. I think there's one ( Heater control ) that has been superglued , the others have a ball bearing - Guess which one I need to access as the cable has come adrift

Pete Lewis
this may be now brute force or cut it off , and then locate the replacement do grease the inners well, they are not a sealed outer and where they pass through the heater plenum they rust inside when rained on. if you fit new and its still open coiled outer sleeve it in some screen wash tube or similar Pete
