Colin Lindsay Posted May 27, 2016 Report Share Posted May 27, 2016 Learned that from hard experience! I've tried to remove old bumpers and had the entire bracket break away. Unscrew the metal end cap and squirt Waxoyl in behind the rubber and behind the exposed ends of the metal bracket using a long nozzle. It all helps.... AndyTV8 Posted May 29, 2016 Report Share Posted May 29, 2016 Years ago I used to use the same stuff that you'd apply to white plimsoles to give them that new look - it came up quite well because it wasn't overly-glossy, no idea whether it stood the test of time though! .......
