What should I look out for when contemplating buying a TR6...?!

big wallet  !!!   rotten cills and rear of the front wing area ,,  front of rear wing area   seem to suffer 

drainage from the heater plenum is chanelled to fill them up from some ive heard of.

black smoke form overfueling PI , some have carbs fitted , these go pretty well and less trouble 

 

values and asking ££ vary a lot    but  i would get to some area meets and ask around a lot before you jump 

follow Clives lead,  we have a good few 6s in our area  as do many tssc area's

As prices rocket ever higher, the prospect of finding a tarted up dog increases.

 

I have seen what £8k can buy you, and it was shocking. Should have been half that price.

 

How much you looking to spend? £15k? £20k?

 

Don't go rushing for a CP car, a CR isn't that much different, and will be 2 or 3k cheaper.
