Pete Lewis Posted October 5, 2016 Report Share Posted October 5, 2016 Well a few coffee's should allow some cool down, but once youve mastered the method you will be confident to do it when she is cold personally I prefer a spec thats at operating temperature then you are setting in iits running condition, but Triumph dont give a hot figure the answer is set them cold ....get it hot ....and measure the hot gap the cold setting is from the days on the engine build line the engines are cold they never seem to have added a hot gap spec.
