sulzerman
Hi all Triumph 2500 saloon I get a high pitched whining noise from my front suspension when on turning full lock. I assume it is coming from the struts? Should they be lubricated? (also get the same noise from my combo work van) thanks in advance
Clive
Is it a PAS car? Only does it on full lock, even when stationary?
Pete Lewis
Yes sounds more like slack belt slipping or low oil in the pas pump reservior Strut bushes may sieze or inserts can knock but there is nothing on the suspension that could make a whine that I can understand you may get a creaky noise off a rubber bush like the drag strut but unlikley cant get at the manuals just now but the pump kit doesnt show a overload valve but some whooshing from the pump under load is quite normal
