My understanding is that it probably will, but never underestimate the way casings etc may have been "customised" for a particular car manufacturer.

Also watch out for the output flange not being correctly drilled for your application, But that is simple to re-drill at home.

quick call to od spares or overdrive repairs will solve this


but keep to d types from similar engine sizes as the hydraulics change on higer outputs

mg used the D type on a 3 synchro box later used LH

Dtype and J type also common on Rootes and Bmc etc.
