TomHolmes
Hi. I'm a wannabe Herald owner and I am starting to look for my first Triumph classic. Are there any problems with Heralds that I should know about. Any bad rust points etc. Thanks guys.
Gully
Welcome, and good luck with your search. If you go to the main TSSC website and click on The Cars - select Herald and scroll down to the bottom to find the PDFs Buyers' Guide document. Colin Lindsay
Poorly looked-after models will rust in all the same places and classic does, and no worse. Rear wheel arches, boot floor, bottoms of doors and most importantly the main chassis rails are points to look out for. The good news is that almost everything is available for them. Try an ad for a member's car in The Courier and see who offers one. If you do find a potential you should have a member locally who will help you examine it; just ask! TomHolmes
Are there any recommendations for a car cover?
Dick Twitchen
Tom, If you put 'car covers' in the Search function there have been several threads recently on this one, and the Club shop sells them. Dick
