simmy
Can anyone give me advice on where I can obtain wheel spacers for a mk 3 gt6 after removing wire wheels and replacing with revolution alloys
Clive
How thick? If you only need 3-5mm a std/universal spacer should do the trick (cheap off ebay) . If you need more it may be worth looking at MGF hubcentric spacers
Dick Twitchen
When I did this on mine 10 years ago I used some Demon Tweaks 5mm universal ones; their part nos then was GRYSP12. Also, I would recommend changing the studs to Freelander ones; there are threads on the Forum about this mod. .
Colin Lindsay
Basic wheel spacers are about £23 on eBay; you can go for super-duper machined alloy versions from around £70 up to a couple of hundred. I'd agree with Dick; uprate the standard wheel studs to the improved Freelander version as the extra load could break standard ones.
Cookie
plenty on ebay. If you need spacers up to about 6mm you may just about get away with standard wheel studs, but any wider then you'l also need to fit longer uprated studs. I have 10mm spacers on the rear of my GT6 and have the longer studs, got mine from Jigsaw, Canleys also stock them.
