petegardner_901
Morning all. Looking to replace the rusty chipped wheelnuts on the Spitfire - but the wheels are "Ally Cat" alloys - bit like a Minilite. The wheel nuts are non tapered and have a thick washer to spread the load against the wheel - and can't find anything anywhere. Any suggestions? Thanks Pete
dougbgt6
Pete, I bought stainless from Rimmer bros in one of their sales, normally £5 each,. washers are extra. Canley Classics also sell them, but not sure they're stainless or chromed as they're only £2.20. Doug
Gully
Worth looking at the John Brown Wheels website - there are plenty of options available on there and they are very helpful if you speak with them. Both sets of Minilites I've had have been tapered nuts. From recollection, either Cosmic or Revolution alloys featured the nut and washer - JBW do copies of both and the appropriate nuts. NonMember
My (rather unusual) Cosmic wheels have tapered nuts. I don't know if that's true of the whole range.
