Dave the tram
Yes, front engine Porsche’s work, I guess 911s have a back seat but expensive, TVRs are probably another ‘practical‘ classic, or a mate had a Scimitar which I quite liked and has even more room. The GT6 Meccano kit for me though. D
Dave the tram
Got the recon, upgraded radiator and looks good. Also a new hose kit and the correct thermostat housing with the 2 top hose outlets. One question, as some of the metal connections are a slightly mottled finish - the old ones due to corrosion and the new housing has a new mottled finish - should I use a smear of black silicone sealant when fitting the rubber hoses or is that a bad idea/unnecessary? Cheers Dave
NonMember
I usually use a bit of something when fitting coolant hoses. A smear of blue Hylomar and a layer of PTFE plumbers' tape seems to be effective.

Purchased my Vitesse radiator from them £210 and they took mine in exchange and it was original and rough . Paul Sorry, very late to this thread - just to say I've had a lot of work done by Anglia Radiators over the years, and they are utterly fantastic. Last time I was in there getting some original Cobra heater matrixes repaired, they had a Spitfire rad leaning against the bench.... and I'm not talking Triumph here.
