Roger K
As it says, really. Late GT6 MkIII - should the chassis be finished in black, or body colour (Carmine)? I'm assuming all suspension and steering components should be black. Thanks Roger
NonMember
Short answer - yes. As I understand it, the chassis was not "finished" as such but arrived at the production line in black, was mated to the body, then the whole lot sprayed before all the mechanical bits were fitted. So the visible parts of the chassis should be body colour, but the harder to get to bits would be black.
dougbgt6
Some do it black some do it coloured, I don't think there's a rule anymore. Mine is black underseal which is NOT what you want, it was done at the dealership 47 years ago. Suspension and steering black, although, again coloured is fine. I'm tempted by mimosa silicone hoses, but have so far resisted. Doug
