wimpus
Hi, Im looking for a decent quality release bearing (GRB207) for my Spit 1500. Now im using the one in the Borg & Beck kits. But after a year it starts to make noises. Years ago bought an uprated release bearings, but never used it. If i look up that part no, a lot of USA parts guys are selling this as direct replacement of the GRB207 bearing. Now had some investigation and.. The uprated one isnt as thick.. Anyone got info on a decent bearing of a good brand ? Pic : Uprated one (+- 16mm) vs used borg en beck unbranded bearings (+- 22mm thick).
Pete Lewis
there is the same thickness problems with the 6 cyl bearings 15mm instead of 19mm thin will upset the lever geometry making it use up slave travel unless you pack it out so the see saw leverage angle of the throwout lever remains correct

I had a new old stock one but the grease was so dry that it ran rough, so I reused the on that came with a classic clutch kit I had
