Ben Caswell
Original part number 141357 Did anyone find a supply for the correct 19mm bearing or a satisfactory way of overcoming the replacement 15mm item that seems to be on offer?

Pete Lewis
if you end up with a thin throwout tap the spherical post out the clutch housing a little way add a washer to pack the post out further a dab of something sticky to keep it in place when you refit the hsg. to the gearbox PaulH had a nice pic of this fix Ive been suggesting it for many years since we realised the thin bearing upsets the lever geometry as do worn pins and wear in the carrier groove Pete
Pete Lewis
what goes wrong here the 15mm bearing effects the pin position and they are going to be below the centre line of the support tube this will try to pitch the throwout carrier and you can end up with wear grooves in the tube and jerky clutch operation heavier pedals if the pins are worn you can replace them with cut down clevis pins welded back in place if the carrier has a pin worn groove just drill and fit the anti rotaion pin/split pin in a new place to shift the wear to an unworn part of the groove just some ideas pete

Pete Lewis
what you need is a longer spherical post the packer idea is the simplest/cheapest use what you have Pete
