Yes it looks like you have an Accuspark electronic ignition , same as I’ve fitted to my Vitesse , though I do carry a spare set of points should it fail . You also have Accuspark marked on your plug leads

I would like to tidy up the air filter housing and rocker box on my 13/60. They are in a matt silver and the moment. Any recommendations for supplier?
Also would the same paint do to tidy up wheels?
Thanks in advance.

Personally I tend to avoid Hammerite and the like but a good aerosol of the preferred colour will go quite a long way, and you should be able to find a modern alternative to the original paint quite easily.
Toolstation sells aerosol paints

The Churchill 3 part tool is very rare. I've never even seen one at an autojumble. I think you'll be very lucky to even find a Triumph 'garage' with one. There used to be a guy - Richard Briscoe? who manufactured the spacers and shims, who had the actual tool and offered a service setting endfloat correctly but not sure if he still does.
There is an alternative Diy method explained on Canley Classics website. Check out the their Technical Archive - Rear End Noises.
I used the “Canley” method on my Vitesse mk2 .

Definitely mk2 dash and it looks like a combined manual pump and wiper switch going by the knob and the connections to it (plastic pipe and spade connectors). Not sure if that was original on the mk 2 vitesse?
The wiper switch has no manual pump. Just 4 spade connectors . The plastic pipe in the original pic is for the vacuum gauge . Here’s a better pic

It's looks the same as my MK2 but things get changed over the years.
Iain
Is the wiper switch a manual pump or electrical

I do remember "Grab a granny night", at the Liverpool Rank dance hall?. Getting the Junior engineers "turned to" and finding Mature Ladies trying to hide under their sheets!.

Modern tyres contain much less natural rubber @ 15%, than days of yore.
Heavy truck tyres contain much more, @30%.
Although modern polymers provide an excellent alternative, no one’s found a synthetic compound with the flexibility and durability of natural rubber.
See your old rubber bushes lasting 50 years and new replacement failing in a few years. See modern tyres often failing MOTs through cracking after a few years.
My modern Hyundai Tucson had Mot advisory with 4 year old tyres - mileage 16,000 miles

Finally got round to correcting body tub spread on the passenger side of my Vitesse saloon . The overhang at the base of the door was 5mm.
I used a spare seatbelt folded in 2 and joined with 2 plates and securing bolts . The ringed end bolted in place using the existing top seatbelt bolt in the rear passenger area. The other end (plated ) bolted and replacing the door catch. The lower seat belt securing bolt on the drivers side was removed ( inertia belt setup) and replaced by original ring bolt.
The ratchet setup is rated at 2 tonnes and although the process was scary with groaning and creaking it worked and the passenger door is now flush with the body . The whole process took less than 1hr . Should have done it years ago
I checked the seatbelt webbing after the big pull and it was still intact with no movement at either plate so can be used again.

Hi Paul.
Yes, that does make sense, can you remember if the lower wishbone was already attached before locating the top bolt?
Yes the top bolt was the last bit . It was a pain and on one side I used a sharpened over length bolt and cut it off and added the nut . The bolt can only go in from the rear to the front of the car and access is difficult . I used 2 tools the chisel point was the most useful and had to cut it down due to access , both sections of the chisel are shown ( Screwfix I think )

From memory I used a screwdriver to start the process then sacrificed a longer bolt which had a ground pointed end . Once in place used the original bolt at the other end . Hope this makes sense .

What is the sequence to remove the door window ? The clips and window trims have been removed . Is the next stage to remove the window guide ? See pic and then remove the 2 circlips securing the window to the regulator

Whilst waiting for the paint from the shop to arrive have carried on sortimg out the roof for hinges and other door gear. It is easy to forgot what you have squirreled away.
Not sure how many quaterlights a 2 door car needs but have several broken ones. Hopefully i will get a pair out of them.
When i finish i will have to have a pitch at Stoneleigh and or Beaulieu. But until ive finish will need to hang on.
Also carried on rubbing down door faces applying Novol primer and epoxy primer.
Whilst at it located a couple of nos cills that were up there. Again from my brother who had the basket case befor me.
These were rubbed down and coated with Vactan rust convertor.
Had some supermarket crates arrive today
Got a few already and as i move more stuff out garage loft need to put them somewhere. Got one of the dollies for these already and are great for garage storage but can also be pushed around out the way as well.
So if the paint does not arrive and its only been 2 days. (I should have ordered earlier ) will continue to see what treasures there are in the roof.
Or i could primer the rear valences.
To be continued.
What temperature are you spraying at ?
