  1. Not for much longer, then you have to use your own discretion!
  2. I wouldn't buy a Chinese radiator. I'm not keen on that covid thing they sent us.
  3. I've got twenty litres of white vinigar in my Vitesse petrol tank for descaling, it's working a treat. Need to flush it out soon and add some Bilt Hamber atom mac , it's a water soluble oil which you dilute.
  4. I've been buying ESSAR E5 it's 99 ron as is Shell V power (but my local Shell is ran very poorly). It's about the same price too. Jet do E5 which is 97 ron (my Micra is ok on that). I can get them all locally.
  5. We went to a museum last week. The Great British Car Journey, at Ambergate in Derbyshire. Oh the shelf in the shop I spotted Triumph Sports Cars by Graham Robson, so obviously I purchased it!
  6. OK thanks. He might have seen my post on here as he did reply to my email shortly afterwards.
  7. Argh, yes I hadn't thought of that. Thanks.
  8. Thanks for the help and advice Roger and Paul. I think Roger's spare dash assembly is in about the same condition as mine, so I think I might as well repair this one, thanks. There was one on Ebay last night for £95!
  9. Hi Roger, thanks for the photo's. I came to your place last year for a gearbox if you remember? I've just read above that it could be tricky to fit as it's a mk2 dash. If I decide I want it I will get back to you.
  10. I'm currently in the process of cleaning my Vitesse fuel tank out with white vinegar, (a tip given to me by a local classic bike restorer). So, I left the tank in the shed standing on a bund overnight in the upright position (as in it's fitted position), with 4.5 litres of white vinegar in it. This morning I observed the effect, it has removed all the fuel residue that was submerged below the fluid level and eaten into some rust patches. I have now put the tank on one side to process that are next. I will need to get some more white vinegar to submerge the centre baffle . But B&M are out of stock just now and my ebay order has gone missing.
  11. Thanks for looking Colin. I have two wooden dash panels. If anyone else can help it would be greatly appreciated and I will pay cash and collect.
  12. Hi Colin, I need the big bit, the vinyl covered molded hardboard assembly that the clocks and everything bolt on to. I made contact with Mick Dolphin last night and he is having a look today. Do you have one?
  13. Yes Mick, just checked the email and your name was without an e.
  14. Has anyone been in contact with Mick Dolphin recently? I have dropped him a couple of emails without reply.
  15. Right thank you. I will get the tank out and start looking in to it!
  16. ok thanks. So are we saying just buy a new one and be done with it?
  17. Are there any specialist company's that can clean out and repair fuel tanks? I think my Vitesse tank is the original fitment from 1967 judging by the state of it. It is the larger tank and has the screwed in sender unit .
  18. Yes, perhaps a victim of their own success. I note there is a Herald convertible this month lot 149
  19. I think Mathewson's auction prices have become somewhat hyped recently, unless I'm lagging behind on current values.
  20. Yes, thanks for that. It looks genuine but someone said boring. I guess he's just not a Triumph man. Dolly prices are going up I think.
  21. I know what you mean, just driven down to Cornwall. Paid £139.9 at Costco for diesel and £152.2 at Shell on the A30 at Sommercourt.
  22. In Mathewson's November auction there is a Dolomite, Lot 132. What's your opinion?
