  4. colin , i use loctite 480 black ruberised superglue on window seals on construction equipment , deep pockets at around 40 for a 20ml bottle mick

  6. theres centre line holes in the front main and the rear diff x member , these are on the flange , but you need to extend the centre line beyond the length of the car , dimensions are from the bottom of the x members used for the centre line a good 6ft straight edge ,large protractor and some 4ft spirit levels come in handy . mick
  7. water based has to be dried in a oven , or it end up on the floor when it rain . experimented on painting some construction equipment whilst out in canada . mick
  8. you can tap the hole to accomodate a brake pipe nut of m10 x1.25. service kits are available too
  9. use a standard 4 or 5 pin 12v 40a automotive relay , wont have any issues , use the inhib switch to trigger the relay . no harm in adding a extra earth strap from bellhousing to frame

  15. bolt to gearbox 1st , leave the 4 bolts between bracket and frame loose . bolt up everything complete gbox installation but leave the 4 bolts loose , take car for short drive to settle everything down then do up the 4 bolts
  16. better corosion properties when dealing with cast iron ,ally, copper and brass components
  17. waterless coolant waste of effort ,doesn't help with cooling issues if the basics aren't in place . if the basics are in place normal coolant is all you need, doesn't matter if in a $3 million dollar Ferrari 250 gto or your $ 50 scrap yard special , if anything flus system and use longlife (red)coolant and distilled water .
